San Antonio, TX, 20th Nov 2021, ZEXPRWIRE, MALQUAD, San Antonio street artist and sculpture, will have an exhibition of his latest painted artwork collection—Dia de los Muertos 2021—on the online artspace platform KUNSTMATRIX. The exhibition will run from Dec. 2, 2021 – Feb. 28, 2022.
This is the artist’s first official canvas artwork collection after having “spent most of [his] time trying to make ugly alleys look better” with his cartoon-inspired street tags and stickers. The collection will feature over 40 unique art pieces made through a three-months long painting binge starting in September. “I really had a lot going on this year with death so this, basically, this just made sense to me.” In terms of honoring anyone with the collection, the artist “was doing it for everyone, generally, but, yeah, there’s some special people out there that made it mean more to me.” As to why the artist chose a virtual platform for his exhibition he reported he “wanted to find somewhere where I could let everyone see my paintings.” He added “[a virtual gallery] makes it to where you can see my paintings, all in 3D, so that seemed pretty cool to me.”
